£30 million Premier League star ‘wants to sign for Chelsea’ after offer made

Crystal Palace winger Wilfred Zaha has reportedly told team-mates that he wants to sign for Chelsea during this transfer window.

Zaha was one of the standout performers for Palace last season and firmly established himself as one of the best wingers in the Premier League, netting 9 goals and creating five assists for his team-mates.

He has been on the radar of Tottenham boss Maurizio Pochettino for a while now and Spurs were expected to make a move in the coming days, but with the club needing to sell before they are able to buy, speculation has died down.

And the Daily Mirror website has claimed Zaha has told his team-mates that he would like to complete a £30 million move to Stamford Bridge, after reports this week suggested the Blues submitted an offer.

It is no secret there is still speculation surrounding the future of Brazilian star Willian, and the Blues are preparing for life with the South American by lining up a number of possible transfer targets.

Maurizio Sarri would prefer to keep Willian at the club, but cannot force him to stay if he wants to go but the Italian will only make a move for Zaha if he simply cannot get the Brazilian to stay.


However, Chelsea must up their £30 million offer before any deal can take place as reports suggest Palace wants closer to £45 million to sell their star man.
