Arsenal ‘are convinced’ world class Ramsey will reject Liverpool and Man United to sign new deal

Fresh reports have claimed Arsenal ‘are convinced’ star man Aaron Ramsey will reject the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool to sign a new contract with the club.

The Welsh midfielder has bene in the headlines for the last few months, as he continues to hold talks with Arsenal about a new contract that will commit his long-term future to the club.

But so far he has not agreed a deal, with some reports he wants a wage similar to that of Mesut Ozil, who held the club to ransom last February and managed to get a £300,000-a-week deal to stay at the Emirates.

The likes of United and Liverpool have been keeping a close eye on the situation at Arsenal and have both shown an interest in trying to get a deal done if Ramsey fails to agree a new contract, as they both believe he will add something different to their attacks.

However, the Metro website has now claimed Arsenal are willing to make him one of the biggest earners at the Emirates, and boost his wages to around £200,000-a-week, a deal which they are convinced he will sign.

Here is what we think.
Arsenal have done some wonderful transfer business this summer and have signed some real quality players which have all improved the squad, as they look to start a new era after spending the last 22-year under Arsene Wenger.
But the one deal Gunners fans want to see most is the one of Ramsey, who is one of the clubs biggest players and the clubs player of the season from last year.

He is out of contract in just 12 months time and will be able to leave for nothing if Arsenal do not give in, stop being tight and hand the midfielder the kind of deal he deserves.

There is a reason why some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are interested in taking him away from Arsenal and there is a reason why Unai Emery is desperate for him to sign a new contract, and that is because Ramsey is top-class player.

If Arsenal do not get this wrapped up soon, then they may find themselves once again in a situation like the Ozil saga, or worse, the Alexis Sanchez drama.
