Arsenal prepared to part company with £110,000-a-week key man

Unai Emery’s Arsenal have reportedly started to think about the potential sale of Wales international central midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to reports in the British press.
The Welshman has scored 58 goals from 329 appearances throughout a successful decade-long spell with the North London giants.

But the 27-year-old star has less than a year remaining on his current contract and it is highly unlikely that he will reach an agreement with the club’s management over a new deal.
According to the British daily middle-market tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail, that could lead to the Gunners parting company with the versatile midfielder in order to fund a swoop for the La Liga side Sevilla defensive midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.

The north London club have a long-standing interest in the France international, while new manager Unai Emery has previously worked with the star during his time at Sevilla.

The Spanish outfit have previously suggested that N’Zonzi will not be sold for anything less than £35 million, leaving Arsenal in a position where the club must sell before they can make an approach for the one-time Stoke City man.
