BIG DEAL Everton agree £28.5m fee to sign Manchester United target Yerry Mina from Barcelona

Everton have reportedly agreed a €32m (£28.5m) deal to sign Yerry Mina.

The Barcelona centre-back has been strongly linked with Manchester United this summer, however it was reported on Sunday morning that their deal was in jeopardy.

Now, according to Sport, Everton have pounced and snatched the Colombian defender for themselves.

Mina, 23, is set to sign a five-year deal at Goodison Park after concluding swift negotiations with the Blaugrana.

The Toffees are understood to have been interested in Mina since his star performances for Colombia at the World Cup.

They were always seemingly behind United in the race for his signature, but have ultimately come up trumps and Marco Silva has seemingly got his man.
