Done Deal: Man Utd 22-year-old star secures loan switch from Red Devils

The Premier League giants Manchester United have sent 22-year-old striker James Wilson on loan to Aberdeen.

The talented striker will spend the campaign with the Scottish Premiership club as he begins his fourth loan from Manchester United, having already enjoyed spells in the EFL Championship with Brighton, Sheffield United, Derby County.

England U21 international Wilson scored twice on his senior debut for Manchester United against Hull in the EPL in 2014 and has since gone on to make 20 matches for the Red Devils.

After recovering from a knee injury, James was sent to Sheffield in January to see out the rest of the previous season and made nine appearances, netting once.

And Wilson is set to take on the No.9 jersey and possibly an essential role at the Scottish side, who have been in the hunt for a new forward since Adam Rooney left to join Salford City this summer.
“I am very happy to be here,” Englishman told the club’s website.

“It was my coach at Manchester United Ricky Sbragia who first told me about the interest from Aberdeen, probably three or four weeks ago, but I have since heard that the club have been following my progress for a good while. They have kept an eye on me which is nice.
