Done deal: Striker complete Arsenal transfer, sends message to Gunners

Arsenal player Chuba Akpom has been unveiled as POAK player after the Greek side  announced his arrival.

It is understood the youngster completed his medical with the Greek outfit, but what dragged his unveiling were some “bureaucratic and procedural issues.”

Greek outlet Gazetta.gr claims the player’s arrival to the Greek side has been delayed due to some “procedural issues ”

Notwithstanding, these problems once fixed will not alter the terms in the player’s contract or his wages.
Akpom was absent in Unai Emery’s first-team line-up that won the International Champions Cup shootout against local rivals Chelsea in Dublin, Ireland. Nor was he present for the club’s U23s against AFC Hornchurch, as he was completing proceeding for the move.

The Nigerian star put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Greek outfit, which is tied to an 8 million euros release clause.

The asking fee paid for the player is still a wavering topic. But, it is understood they paid between 900,000 and 2 million pounds for the player.

British source earlier claimed it was 2 million pounds, but Greek sources have rebuffed such numbers, calling it false and revealed that POAK paid around 900,000 pounds for the Gunners man.

Akpom joins Jack Wilshere to exit the club in search of sufficient game time, elsewhere.
