Forget Real Madrid as Luiz tells £200 million superstar duo Chelsea ‘is where they need to be’

Chelsea star David Luiz has urged Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard to stay at Stamford Bridge this summer.

It is no secret to many Blues fans that both Hazard and Courtois are seeking fresh challenges away from the club after both admitting their reasons for wanting to leave.
Superstar winger Hazard has admitted that it would be very difficult to turn down the lure of a move to the Bernabeu, despite the missed opportunity to work under his idol Zinedine Zidane.
He told BeIN Sports, he replied: ‘Does Real make me dream less without Zidane? Zidane is someone special it’s true, but I think Real is everyone’s dream.

“for first time ‘Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Real] is special but the blue jersey suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay.”

It is believed that Real are keen to sign up Hazard but have been put off for now by the Blues massive £200 million price tag, as they would prefer to acquire his services for close to the £150 million mark.

Courtois on the other hand has totally different reasons for wanting a move to Madrid, as he wants to move back to his family, who left London for Spain just over a year ago.

Madrid have already contacted Courtois about a possible deal and are just waiting to hear from Maurizio Sarri, as the Italian has admitted he will talk to the Belgian before making a decision on his future.

But one man that wants both player to stay is Luiz, who had admitted that both players ‘know what they’ve had here’

He was quoted on the Sky Sports website: “Chelsea wants for the best players to stay.

“They know Chelsea a lot, so they know what they’ve had here, the fun they’ve had here.

“Everybody loves them and I hope they can stay. I want them to stay, because we have top players with the confidence.

“If they decide to leave, I think we will continue with fantastic players.”

Chelsea do not have to go out and sell Hazard this summer as he still has two-years left on his current deal, so they could keep hold for one more year and then make a decent profit on his sales.

However, Courtois is out of contract in just 12 months time and Chelsea would be best to sell on quick and find an adequate replacement before the transfer window shuts in just three days, otherwise they could lose one of the best stoppers in world football for absolutely nothing next season.
