The 20-year old Jamaican International is one of the hottest talents in world football and is already one of the most dangerous and exciting wingers in the Bundesliga.
The Blues have been eyeing up possible replacement for Eden Hazard, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and will surely leave the club next summer if he doesn’t by Thursday, as he has already admitted that he is ready for a fresh challenge.
And Liverpool have also been on the radar of Bailey, as Jurgen Klopp is still keen to add one more attacker to the side and sees the exciting winger as a great long-term investment.
‘What I can say is that my full focus is on developing myself as a young player, and that’s what I’ll focus on. ‘If a club wants me, my management and Bayer will take care of it.’
Now with just a few days to go in the transfer window it would be very unlikely that a deal could happen, considering just how much Bailey would cost and both clubs will keep a close eye on his development ahead of a possible move next summer.
