Serie A duo battle for signature of Arsenal £40,000-a-week attacker

Unwanted Arsenal Spanish star Lucas Perez is in negotiations with newly-promoted Serie A club Frosinone over a loan move to Italy.
According to Sky Sports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, as quoted by Get Italian Football News, the striker is discussing a possible move, with his Arsenal future looking bleak.

The Italian giants SS Lazio are also believed to be in the running to land the Spaniard but have been told to spend €8 million to secure his services on a permanent basis.
The latter would be able to offer the forward European football after qualifying for the Europa League

Lucas Perez would certainly be regarded as something of a coup for Moreno Longo’s Frosinone, who secured promotion from Serie B the previous season.

The attacker would be hopeful of more regular playing time at both clubs, but Frosinone would certainly be able to give Lucas the platform to be an essential figure in their squad.

The one-time Deportivo La Coruna striker has been involved in the London-based outfit pre-season games but struggled to make an impression when given the opportunity.
