Yet again, the German mastermind will be full of smiles and count himself extremely lucky after beating Manchester City to sign wonder-kid Bobby Duncan this summer.
Duncan was snapped up, right under the Mancunians nose by the Merseysiders, according to the Mirror.
Duncan, 17, is understood to have rejected and turned down advances from Pep Guardiola and Manchester City and opted to join Klopp’s Liverpool instead.
Duncan found the back of the net 66 times in 2016, a screaming performance for a 17-year-old.
You can’t bag that record and hid under the radar for too long.
The 17-year-old has been fished out and Liverpool will be reeling in great excitement that they beat Premier League winners Manchester City to his signature.
The 17-year-old is very likely to ease his way into Klopp’s first-team sheet in the coming years. He is an unstoppable force to be reckoned on.
Putting down interests from Manchester City is a hard blow for the Mancunians, but it will be very exciting to see him blossom into the goalscoring machine at Anfield.
