Arsenal have agreed a new three-year deal with Banque du Caire, as their official partner in Egypt.
The Premier League giants announced the deal on Friday, with Egypt
international Mohamed Elneny at the forefront in promotional pictures.
It’s the London club’s second partnership in the country, as they also
signed a deal with Hyde Park development back in January to make it the
club’s real estate partner in the north-African state.
There are many perks for Banque du Caire customers as a result of the
deal, including branded the Gunners credit and debit cards, the offer
of match-day hospitality at Emirates, and club memorabilia at all 250+
Banque du Caire branches.
The major thing for Arsenal fans who do not live in Egypt is that the
club are continuing to grow their brand. Both regarding international
publicity, and in financial terms, with another commercial deal adding
to the incomings.
It is especially good to see Arsenal doubling down on the opportunity
to win supporters in Egypt. The African midfielder gives fans in the
country a personal connection to the club, which they don’t often get,
given the scarcity of Egyptian players in the Premier League.
