The transfer window in the Premier League was closed last Thursday but clubs elsewhere have slightly more time to shop for new players.
After securing the services of a majority of his main transfer targets over the summer, Jurgen Klopp has now been focusing on offloading players who will be of little to no use during the season.
Therefore, the club has accepted Cagliari’s offer of £2million to sign Ragnar Klavan, who was in and out of the starting eleven last season.
The 32-year-old is set to travel to Italy to undergo a medical at the Serie A club before their transfer window closes soon.
Klavan agreed to move to Anfield from Bundesliga side Augsburg in 2016 and went on to play 53 games for the club.
