Ramsey on way to Merseyside? Klopp told to complete shock transfer deal for Arsenal star Ramsey

Former Liverpool player Dean Saunders has told Jurgen Klopp to make a move and sign up unhappy Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey this summer.

It is no secret the Welshman is having trouble negotiating a new contract at the Emirates, and that has led to speculation that he could depart the club with both Chelsea and Manchester United linked.

Ramsey only has 12 months to run on his current deal and rather than lose him for nothing at the end of next season, or get themselves into a situation much like the Mesut Ozi saga, the Gunners may be forced to sell in a bid to get some money for their player of last season.

And Saunders, the Wales legend who enjoyed spells at Derby County, Aston Villa and Liverpool, wants to see the Reds make a move of their own.
He told the Liverpool ECHO: ‘When you first said it, my reaction was “it will make them stronger, having Ramsey in the squad”.

‘He covers more ground than everyone almost every week, and he scores goals and makes goals; he’s a good footballer with a good brain.

‘I think Aaron Ramsey will make Liverpool stronger. I think he’d be a great signing for Liverpool.
‘If Liverpool sign him, they definitely get stronger. What a midfield that would be – Ramsey, Keita and Fabinho.

Liverpool have the funds and budget to make a very lucrative offer to sign Ramsey if he does decide to leave the club in the next few days. But it will be much more likely that he stays until at least the January transfer window, as the Gunners do now want to let him go just yet.
