American dream! Chelsea confirm and announce Miazga deal is signed, sealed and delivered!

Reports have revealed Chelsea youngster Matt Miazga has joined French side Nantes on a season long-loan, with a view to a permanent deal.

Miazga, 23, has officially been a Chelsea player since being transferred from the New York Red Bulls in January of 2016.
However, failing to impress former coach Antonio Conte, he has spent the last two seasons on loan with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem, and has put in some relatively decent performances.

He managed to make 72 appearances in all competitions for the Dutch side and scored five-goals as Vitesse went on to win the 2017 KNVB Cup, the first major trophy in the club’s history.

And he had hoped that a fresh manager would finally give him the opportunity to make an impact at the Blues, with Maurizio Sarri ready to give everyone a second chance at Stamford Bridge.
But the Sky Sports website has revealed he has now headed over to France for a 12 month loan spell with Nantes, and they have the option to buy if he impresses enough next season.

It could turn out to be a very good move for Miazga as the move to France should provide a valuable step in up in competition from the Dutch League, as he looks to build a nice little caree for himself.
