Arsenal only have a small glimmer of hope for Ousmane Dembele deal

Although Arsenal have already completed most of their transfer business this summer, with only two days left in the market, the Gunners may well still make another deal or two this year.
Unai Emery has addressed most of the club’s weak areas this summer. The Spaniard has brought in five new players consisting of two defenders, a goalkeeper and two midfielders.

While all five will vastly improve the squad, the Gunners might still be tempted to bring another winger to compliment Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

Alex Iwobi recently signed a new contract with the club but the club could still improve by adding a dynamic winger up front.

With that in mind, Mundo Deportivo via the Metro is reporting that Unai Emery has told the club to make a last-minute loan offer for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

Ousmane Dembele has been constantly linked with the Gunners throughout the transfer window.
Following a relatively average first season with Barcelona, Dembele’s future at the club has been shrouded in uncertainty. Moreover, with Malcolm now at the club, it seems his place in the squad is very much up for grabs.

Dembele joined Barcelona last summer on an initial £96.8 million fee and although he may not have lived up to the massive fee just yet, the Frenchman still remains one of the best talents in Europe.
The Gunners have spent the majority of their budget, and a loan deal – with a mandatory option to buy – may be the only way to facilitate any move.

Overall the deal seems pretty unbelievable but there’s still the slight chance the Gunners could pull it off.

What do you think Arsenal fans?
