“I am confident” Jose Mourinho announces one more signing for Man United

The transfer window will be closed in about 10 days but Jose Mourinho has revealed that Man United are working on a deal for one more signing.

The Red Devils have already bolstered their squad with three players in Diogo Dalot, Lee Grant and Fred but the club are looking to go one better before the window is closed. The injuries are piling up for Mourinho and he has bemoaned the lack of options for him at the moment.

A chunk of Mourinho’s player are still on the break after the World Cup and it looks as though, the Red Devils could do with one more brand new player. The Special One spoke to beIN Sports (h/t Sky Sports), where he revealed that he is confident of sealing one more deal.

“I am confident I will get one, but I think two I am not going to get—which is not a drama,” said the coach. “In every pre-season it happens the same, with every club, which is that the manager wants more.”

The Portuguese manager had reportedly sounded out the brass of Man United that he need two more players before the close of the window.


Following the signing of Fred, United are not in need of a midfielder but they are looking to sign a back-up for Romelu Lukaku.
