Man United no longer pursuing summer deal for La Liga €62,000-a-week star

Manchester United have reportedly pulled the plug on their £35 million deal to land Yerry Mina from Barcelona, according to reports in the British media.
Colombian star was closing in on a transfer to Old Trafford after he agreed on a five-year contract with the Red Devils.

But The Sun on Sunday report that Manchester United have now cancelled the deal because of a row over agent’s fees.
The report states that Jose Mourinho’ side are angry with Mina’s entourage as he attempted to change the terms of the deal in the closing stages of negotiations.

It’s reported that Mina’s representative was unwilling to lower the fees Manchester United were due to pay him and Mina.

And now EPL giants pulled out of the deal after the club’s management set a deadline on Saturday for the deal to be concluded but it was missed.

Meantime, Barcelona’s vice-president Jordi Mestre has also admitted that Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde will decide Yerry’s future.

Asked if Manchester United are interested in Mina, Jordi told ESPN: ‘It’s top secret.

‘We have to be very careful because Yerry Mina arrived last season and he’s very young, but we will see. We will see. ‘The final opinion [on if he leaves] is with the coach.’
