Belgium international Simon Mignolet is set to be handed an escape from his Liverpool nightmare by the Turkish giants Besiktas.
And, according to the British tabloid newspaper The Sun, Besiktas will make an offer worth £12 million to take Simon away from Anfield.
The 30-year-old star could be the second keeper to depart from Jurgen Klopp’s side after the world-record signing of Alisson Becker. the Brazilian’s arrival saw Danny Ward join another EPL side Leicester City in a £12.5 million deal.
The arrival of Loris Karius back in 2016 saw Mignolet’s senior-team opportunities restricted somewhat – with the German cementing the number one spot for himself.
But a series of high-profile mistakes forced the Reds to dip into the
transfer market and splash £67 million on the Italian giants AS Roma
‘keeper Alisson Becker.
While Simon Mignolet is happy in England having previously played for Sunderland, negotiations with Besiktas’ management are expected later this week.
