Chelsea South-American target advance talks to sign deal with Manchester United

Manchester United may have gone cold feet in the transfer window after the signing of Fred and Diogo Dalot, they are looking to pull a string or two to reinforce their squad before the close of the market.

The rumour mills are back spinning hard this time. According to reports, Man United are on the verge of stealing a march on Chelsea to the signing of Chile and Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Vidal was on the transfer radar of Manchester United last summer but the Red Devils opted to sign Nemanja Matic. Chelsea were also on his case but they ended up signing Tiemoue Bakayoko.

And now, according to TransferMarketWeb, Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich has advanced talks with Manchester United over a potential move for the star. Inter Milan and Chelsea are also mentioned as his suitors.
Vidal has seen and won it all with Bayern Munich and it is claimed that the new boss of the Bavarian side do not have him in his plans for the coming season.

Following the capture of Fred from Shahktar Donetsk, Mourinho revealed he will only sign another midfielder for Man United if Marouane Felliani fails to extend his deal with United. The aforementioned Belgian has signed agreed a deal with United and it is surprising to see the Red Devils linked with a move for Vidal.

Vidal is vastly experienced but given his age, he might not make a huge impact in the Premier league for United.
