Chelsea lining up exchange deal to offload £110,000-a-week star after one season

Chelsea could use Serie A giants Inter’s interest in France international Tiemoue Bakayoko to push through a deal for Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino.
According to reports from the Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted on Sport Witness, a deal to bring South American to London could once more gather momentum.

Vecino was heavily connected with a move to the Blues throughout the World Cup, with Italian manager Maurizio Sarri is known admirer of the star.
The two worked together at Serie A side Empoli, and as a result, the Uruguayan star is drawing links to Stamford Bridge.

Tiemoue has seen his future thrown into serious doubt over the summer after struggling to live up to expectations throughout his campaign at the club.

The Frenchman struggled to hold down a spot in the side under Italian boss Antonio Conte, and it is unclear about whether or not he fits into Maurizio Sarri’s plans.

Inter are interested in adding another midfielder to their ranks this transfer market and Bakayoko has emerged as a summer target, but it is yet to be seen if this would be two individual deals or a straight swap.
