Jose Mourinho has signed Brazilian star Fred so far but the United manager is still keen on extending his options in that area of the squad as he looks to make a strong challenge for the Premier League title next year.
As per reports, United have made an official approach – which is unconfirmed whether it’s with the player or his club – to sign the former Juventus star.
Vidal, a $175,000-a-week star, has been pursued by United for the last three years but with several older players being offloaded by Bayern this summer, this could finally be a good chance for the Red Devils to land their man.
United are not the only club who are chasing the signature of Arturo Vidal with Serie A contenders Inter Milan also interested in signing the midfielder.
