£220,000 per week deal on cards: Chelsea could agree deal with Euro giants for World Cup winner

Reports coming from British outlets are claiming Chelsea and France defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante has been highlighted a top target for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

However, it’s reported that PSG would be willing to offer more than £100m to secure the signing of the midfielder at Parc de Princess.

Kante has been one of Chelsea best players since he joined the club from Leicester City back in the summer of 2016 and he went on playing a starring role for France that helped the team won the World Cup tournament in Russia.

Joining PSG would likely see the midfielder offered a pay rise (£220,000 per week) on his current earning with Chelsea which is current set at £100,000-a-week.
In convincing Chelsea to sell their star man, the club are said to be lining up Adrien Rabiot as part of the deal that will see Kante move to back to his hometown this summer.

Chelsea are believed to do all that they can to keep the 27-year-old France international made 47 appearances for the Blues across all competitions last term and is well-known for his defensive potential.

Chelsea, who are not willing to part ways with Kante would do everything within their reach in tying him down to a longer deal with the club and possibly offering him a new wages so as to fend-off interest from the PSG. Although, with the club’s ready to offer Rabiot as part of the deal that will see Kante join them, the Blues could have a change of mind and Rabiot himself, is a superb midfielder.
