Done Deal: Highly-Rated Dutchman Signs For Chelsea

Highly-rated Dutch forward Daishawn Redan has confirmed on Instagram that he has signed his first professional contract with Chelsea.

The Dutch forward has risen through the youth ranks to the fringes of the Blues first-team, racking up 14 appearances for the U-18 side, five for the U-19s and nine for the U-23s.
Redan hs made the switch to the Blues from Eredivisie side Ajax only last campaign, however, has made a huge impact in a short space of time.

Unfortunately for the teenager, who has bagged 20 goals in 24 appearances for Netherland u17s, he may struggle for first-team football due to the stiff competition for te Blues first-team with Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.
The London giants still haven’t clarified who will be their manager next season. Maurizio Sarri is expected to replace Antonio Conte. However, the season is barely a month away, and there’s uncertainty in the Blues camp which doesn’t bode well for their hopes to have a sucessfull season.

Redan might have to consider a temporary move away from Chelsea in order to secure first-team football and considering the Blues loan system Dutchman is likely to leave the team ahead of the next season.
