4-year deal on card: AM on the brink of sealing Arsenal deal after talks with Emery

Arsenal seemed to be up against the wall as trials to keep Welshman Aaron Ramsey tied to the club in recent weeks was to no avail.

However all that may yet change as there are reports suggesting the 27-year-old will likely pen down a new four-year deal with the north Londoners.

Revealing reports via Arsenal Fever say that the midfielder will likely remain at the Emirates for the long haul.

It is understood Ramsey backtracked in put pen-to-paper in order to re-evaluate his valuation at the north London outfit.
Another bottleneck in the negotiations between Ramsey and Arsenal was the club inability to pose as a strong contender for the Premier League title in recent seasons.

But the arrival of Unai Emery is bound to turn the unfortunate spells at the club.

On hiss arrival at the club Ramsey hinted he’s ready to work with the Spanish manager given Emery’s achievements at former clubs Sevilla and ParĂs Saint-Germain.

Amid all these, there are opinions making the rounds that a future for Ramsey at Arsenal is not farfetched, if he is handed the heavy duty of captaining the club.

A chunk of Arsenal supporters feel he is the right man for the job and if gifted the position as part of his agreement, it would definitely persuade the 27-year-old to consider tying himself down at the club.
