Chelsea ready to sell Barcelona target, but only for £70 million

Chelsea have decided to allow Willian move to Barcelona after repeated efforts from the Catalans for the signature of the Brazilian winger.

The Blues had been adamant that they would not allow any of their star men leave this summer including Eden Hazard and Willian, but Barcelona have continued bidding for Willian, with their last offer topping £60 million.

Willian had told Chelsea he wanted out if Antonio Conte returned as the club’s manager, so when they axed the Italian, they were optimistic that the unsettled Brazilian would now remain.

However, with Philippe Coutinho persuading him to move to the Camp Nou, the Brazilian ace, has now told the club that he still wants out even if he features in the plans of Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues reportedly no longer want to stand in his way after they met to discuss Barcelona’s offer for him. However, they want the La Liga holders to pay up £70 million straight up, with no add-ons.

Manchester United are also keen on signing Willian with Jose Mourinho looking to be reunited with the player that he signed from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2013.
