Derby County have sealed a loan move for Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson this summer. Wilson had recently penned a new long-term contract which suggests that Klopp rates him highly and sees his long-term future at Anfield.
The Welsh starlet went out on loan at Hull City last season where he made a name for himself after scoring 7 goals in 13 league appearances which helped the Tigers avoid relegation to the third tier of English football.
The Wrexham-born talent has incredible potential to be a future star in world football and it seems like Jurgen Klopp has decided to loan him out again this summer so that he can continue with his development by performing for a club on a weekly basis. A loan spell at the Pride Park will definitely benefit the Welsh prospect as he looks to break into Klopp’s first-team plans in the coming seasons.
The acquisition of Wilson will undoubtedly bolster Lampard’s attacking options at Pride Park. The 21-year-old is exactly the kind of talent who can light up the Championship with some eye-catching displays which will definitely make him a prized asset for the Rams, even if he is only joining for a season.
A loan move for Wilson will improve their side significantly and add more competition for places within the Derby squad. The Reds, on the other hand, can look to reap the rewards of the loan spell in a year’s time as the Welsh youngster will gain more experience and improve his game which could help him break into Klopp’s senior squad next year.
Only time will tell what lies ahead in the future of Wilson and whether his time with the East Midlands club turns out to be a productive one.
