Done deal: Forward agrees personal terms with Liverpool

Liverpool football club have reportedly agreed a contract extension with their prodigy,  Rhian Brewster.

Brewster who was admired by a lot of European clubs during the early days of the transfer window has finally committed his future to the Reds.

Borussia Monchengladbach were the front runners but their approach in trying to secure his services angered the Anfield club and the deal thereby fell through.

The 18-years-old striker is presently convalescing after suffering an ankle injury which has sidelined him since the middle of last campaign.
For the youth side last season, Brewster bagged six goals whilst also providing seven assists in just 15 appearances.

With the recent contract extension of Harry Wilson and now Brewster, the academy will be in boisterous mood with the inclination that if they perform and do the right things on and off the pitch their path to the big boys is almost set in stone.

The retention of Brewster amidst European clubs interest in his services also goes to showcase how far Liverpool have come over the last two seasons.

The club have been rubbed off players like a feeder team in the past by so-called European giants. Players such as Torres, Suarez, Sterling and even Coutinho have all left the Merseyside club for big bucks.

However, the tides seems to be turning given that the club can now also flex financial muscle couple with the fact that Anfield is suddenly attractive to big stars.

Klopp and his staff have found a way to keep and bring in quality. The future looks bright and the elusive Premier League trophy will soon come to dock at Merseyside.
