“He’s ours” – Chelsea set to agree another club-record deal for £32m-rated World Cup finalist

France will play in Sunday’s World Cup grand finale.

Les Bleus have enjoyed an incredible, yet patchy ride, narrowly pipping Belgium in the semi-final on Tuesday.

Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann have received all the plaudits for their superb offensive inputs.

In the middle of the park, however, there’s been an ever-present livewire – glueing defence and attack together.

That man is N’Golo Kante who has played every single minute for Didier Deschamps team.
Now it appears the Blues are scared of losing the ex-Leicester City midfielder after the competition.

Paris Saint-Germain is one of the numerous sides contemplating an offer for the 27-year-old.

French outlet, Le10Sport, claimed that Antero Henrique, sporting director of the French champions has already made contacts with the player.

Kante, who moved to Stamford Bridge two years ago for £32m still has three more left on his current deal.

Yet, Blues hierarchy are already offering a bumper new five-year package according to the Daily Express on Wednesday.

Chelsea is willing to cough out a weekly pay of around £200K to fend off other suitors. That’s about a 100 per cent increase from his previous income.

Kante will be a huge bonus for any team due to his exceptional tackling and interceptions.
