£120,000-a-week star set to stay at Liverpool despite links with summer departure

Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge insists he wants to remain at the Reds and fight for a place in Jurgen Klopp’s senior-team squad.
That’s after frequent links with a summer departure, his future with Liverpool having widely understood to be all but over just weeks ago.

Englishman was sent on loan to West Bromwich Albion for the second half of last campaign where he made just one appearance as a result of continued injury woes.
That was in a bid to stake a late state to be in the England squad for the World Cup having struggled for matches at Liverpool.

The Premier League giants are said to have slapped a £15 million price-tag on Daniel Sturridge’s head in the likelihood that he would be moved on this transfer market.

Yet now, the star himself has instead vowed to stick around at the Reds and prove his worth to Jurgen.
