Man Utd fans call for Jose Mourinho to be SACKED for comments after pre-season draw

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have turned on manager Jose Mourinho for what he said after his side drew with San Jose Earthquakes.

The Red Devils welcomed back Alexis Sanchez yesterday, but were unable to break down the MLS side.

Jose Mourinho was visibly disappointed in his post-match interview and took the opportunity to criticise his current crop of players.

“One more training session,” he said of the 0-0 result.

“We are not a team, we are a group of players from different teams.

“Some are first team, some are U23s, some are going on loan, some are U18s.

“We don’t have a team to play much better than we did.”

The 55-year-old then praised Sanchez’s performance as well as that of Andreas Pereira.

But United fans weren’t happy about the seemingly negative comments about the side not being “a team”.

“I know I’m being quite rash but honestly there’s been no change from last season in terms of creating chances,” one fuming supporter wrote.

“We can buy whoever we want but we will still play like s*** and that’s because of Mourinho – get him out.”

Another added: “Jose makes me hate watching Man Utd.”

And a third simply commented: “Mourinho out.”

It isn’t just fans who reckon the Portuguese boss could get the boot.
