Juventus want to give Bosnian creative midfielder Miralem Pjanic a
fresh contract, in spite of reported interest from Chelsea, league
rivals Manchester City and the Spanish giants Barcelona.
Sky Sports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that
Bianconeri do not want to sell the star this summer, despite suggestions
his representative has held initial talks with both Chelsea and
Barcelona.
Fali Ramadani, the player’s new agent, has been looking at the
potentiality of engineering a summer switch for the midfielder to either
Premier League or La Liga.
Maurizio Sarri is said to be a big admirer of Bosnian midfielder and
would love to bring him to Stamford Bridge, in spite of the unlikelihood
of a deal.
Barcelona have also been connected with a move for
Miralem Pjanic for some time, with the Catalan club in the market for a
star to replace the legendary figure of Andres Iniesta.
Miralem is one of many Bianconeri players to be connected with a move
to the west London club. The Blues are also said to be working on deals
for Daniele Rugani, Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuain.
