Man United received big boost in their pursuit of European giants key man

According to sports news website Yahoo Sports, Manchester United have been handed a major boost in their reported pursuit of defender Toby Alderweireld, with Tottenham Hotspur interested to sell the 29-year-old.

Alderweireld has been connected with a transfer away from the Spurs this summer and the Red Devils are one of the teams who are interested to procure his signature.

Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has been in the market for a new central defender as Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind are expected to depart from the club this summer.
