Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho arrive London ahead of Chelsea deal

Chelsea fans are widely expecting the dust to settle over who takes over the reins of the club following the confirmation of Antonio Conte sack.

It appears that Sarri is the choosing one after emerging reports reveal Sarri has landed London to finalise his move with the Stamford Bridge Landlord.

Sarri was replaced by the former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli but Aurelio de Laurentiis had refused to budge to Chelsea’s offer for him. His release clause will be paid as part of the sign on fee for Jorginho.

The Blues are yet to confirm the signing of any player but the arrival of Sarri will signal the beginning of the Blues transfer window for the this summer.

It is also widely reported that the Blues will make Jorginho their summer signing and Skysports has exclusively reported that the Italy midfielder has landed London ahead of his switch.

Jorginho is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Blues after he snubbed a move to Manchester City. At City, he is unlikely to get regular game time but he is expected to be the mainstay of the Blues midfield along N’golo Kante

Danny Drinkwater has been linked with a move away from Chelsea as it appears that he would be the least on Sarri’s selection pecking order when Jorginho is unveiled. We expect one or two departure from the Blues squad as well.
