Not Ramsey or Perez: SS Lazio showing interest in another Arsenal star

Arsenal pacy winger Alex Iwobi has emerged as a shock summer target for the Serie A giants Lazio, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Nigerian star was in and out of the Gunners team throughout last campaign but is thought to be in new manager Unai Emery’s plans for the season ahead.

However, it looks like the winger has been pinpointed by SS Lazio as one of four players who could step in as the substitution for Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian secured a £42 million switch to West Ham United.

Spanish forward Lucas Perez is also stated to be a summer target for SS Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi, as he looks to step up his efforts to sign a new winger this transfer market.

It looks like, though, Iwobi has only appeared as one option of many for Biancocelesti, with the club having reportedly registered a stronger interest in Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid or Alejandro Gomez from Atalanta.

Alex will be desperate to continue his development under Emery’s stewardship this term, having come in for some criticism the last season.
